Two More Cabbage Do It Yourself Ideas

Fill half a quart sized tupperware with your diced cabbage

(not shredded, diced).

 

Sprinkle a pack of Sweet n Low

or sugar

 

 

Pour a liberal amount

of 

zero calorie

chipotle ranch dressing

Fill the container to just below the top with more cabbage.

 

Add another package of Sweet n Low, more salad dressing and some vinegar.

 

Mix all of this thoroughly.

 

If the salad dressing container is empty, put the vinegar in it and shake (to get the rest of the dressing from the bottle.

 

Mix thoroughly again.

 

I like to top it with paprika and then refrigerate for several hours.

I like to prepare an

entire head of

cabbage at one time.

 

But half of it I put in a plastic storage bag for future use

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I fill a large skillet with diced cabbage and add to it:

 

diced sweet red pepper

diced onions

 

Stir it in.

While cooking at

a high flame

I add a package of

Goya flavoring

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I add garlic powder.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I add leftover homemade

chicken broth

and

Soy sauce

 

 

 

Stir it in.

I stir it in thoroughly.

 

 

 

 

After about ten minutes at

a high flame I 

lower the flame

and continue until almost

all the liquid is absorbed

or steamed off

 

 

 

 

Although it is delicious as

a side dish it may be

too spicy, so we use it as

a addition to other

dishes or stuffings.
